The story

A freeway leftover turned into a public living room with one of the best cheap skyline angles in town.

Formerly the Continental Avenue Bridge, renamed for Dallas's first Black mayor, Ron Kirk. The old highway span is now a pedestrian park over the Trinity with seating, swings, and skyline views — a sister experience to driving Calatrava's Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge nearby.
