The story

Proof Dallas will spend big on a beautiful object — and that the Trinity side of town is part of the story now.

Santiago Calatrava's white arched bridge opened in 2012, leaping the Trinity River between downtown and West Dallas. Named for philanthropist Margaret Hunt Hill, it became an instant skyline signature — the harp-like cables show up in every modern Dallas photo shoot.
