The story
West Dallas raised Clyde Barrow. The station is gone; the story is not.
Clyde Barrow's father Henry ran a filling station and family home at 1221 Singleton Boulevard (once Eagle Ford Road) in West Dallas. While Bonnie and Clyde were on the run, the station was the family's foothold — and later a target of fires and violence. After a fight to landmark it, the structure was demolished in 2022. The pin marks where it stood. Pair with Clyde's grave at Western Heights and Bonnie's at Crown Hill. This is crime history, not celebration.
